About Ben Behrouzi :
Ben Behrouzi is an aggressive CEO with extensive experience in building and managing startups, building management teams, developing core technology infrastructure and leading product design and architecture. Behrouzi holds a solid track record of developing profitable and high growth oriented online business products and services including Reply!, LeapFish, iMotors and others. Behrouzi currently serves as CEO of DotNext Inc., a leading bay area venture firm with head quarters out of Pleasanton California. DotNext owns and operates a growing series of Internet companies that includes iHype.com, LeapFish.com and continues in its path to deliver new and innovative internet companies.
Most recently Behrouzi co-founded Reply.com, the premier lead generation portal for service professionals in real estate, automotive, home improvement and lending, and lead the company as Chief Technology Officer and Chief of Product. Behrouzi co-founded Reply.com in June of 2001 and lead the company in the full detailed architecture and engineering of Reply.com’s service products and state-of-the-art technology infrastructure. Behrouzi produced several multi-million dollar profitable products and services including Reply.com, iMotors.com, AgentConnect.com, CarClub.com, OpenAuto.com, RealtyNow.com, iCastle.com and others to grow the company to multi-million annual revenues prior to his leaving in 2006, help raise $17M lead by BA Ventures, acquire and expand ConnectingNeighbors.com and become one of the top market leaders in online lead generation. Reply.com continues to operate and remains as one the leaders in its space today.
Prior to the Reply.com marketplace and suite of lead generation services, Behrouzi co-founded and lead the development of the lead generation duo iMotors.com and AgentConnect.com. iMotors was incubated in June of 2001 while Agentconnect was incubated in February 2003 and both were developed into one the Internet’s first successful real estate and automotive lead generation platforms with multi-million annual revenues. The combined services drove the formation of the Reply.com suite of lead generation services and continue to operate today.
Before his 20’s and prior to co-founding iMotors.com, Behrouzi founded Adovis.com and developed one of the Internet’s top web hosting lead generation destinations, delivering high volume web hosting, internet security and data center solution leads for small to large size hosting companies nationwide. The company quickly built relationships with some of the largest hosting companies nationwide such as Web.com, Verio, RackSpace and EV1 Internet, and grew to an annual run rate of $1.5M in less then 6 months before Behrouzi transitioned focus to the automotive and real estate industries.
Behrouzi was bitten by the entrepreneur bug at a very early age when he started his first novel service KwikKoupon.com and developed one of the first online coupon destinations for his local community of businesses while still in high school. Behrouzi successfully signed on and served several hundred local businesses and was featured on the cover of the Modesto Bee business section at the age of 16. Since then, Behrouzi has been busy building and growing several multi-million dollar products and services, an array of profitable internet companies and producing millions in revenue. Behrouzi’s latest company, DotNext, is parent to some of his newest and up-and-coming internet companies.
Ben Behrouzi is a frequent consultant for young founders and startup organizations in the San Francisco bay area and enjoys providing guidance in startup architecture, agile software engineering and scalable technology infrastructure. Behrouzi studied Philosophy at the University of California at Davis and enjoys spending his free time cycling in his hometown of Danville, California.
